The World Famous Popovich Comedy Pet Theater is coming to Lake Charles on Tuesday, March 15, at 7 p.m. in Burton Coliseum as part of the 2016 season of Banners at McNeese State University.
This family oriented blend of unique comedy and extraordinary talents by Gregory Popovich and his performing pets is sure to please audiences of all ages.
Popovich, producer and star of the show, has traveled and performed throughout the United States and all over the world with his entourage of 30 rescued furry four-legged performers.
His theater performances include the extravaganza of European-style clowns, incredible juggling and balancing acts, and very talented performing pets that include dogs, cats, doves, parrots, goats and even a miniature horse.
Popovich, who has won numerous juggling awards and is known as one of the top three best jugglers of the world, currently holds the world record in a balancing/juggling feat in which he stands atop a 9-foot freestanding ladder and juggles nine rings.
Tickets will be available at the door at $20 for adults, $5 for students and free to McNeese and Sowela students with IDs.
